I laughed pretty hard when I saw this quote, so I thought I'd share it.

This is a great quote!  In ancient times like these there were so many powerful, but wicked people getting honored with monuments.  Cato points out that greatness didn't come by placing monuments of yourself everywhere, rather the monuments came from your greatness.

This is a terrific quote from Shaw.  In fact it's one of my favorite.  Its so simple and yet so true about any Government, ancient or current, and unfortunately future.

Often times doing what you fear the most holds the greatest rewards!  Take the risk, take that leap of faith, go the extra mile.

The best way to get something done is to do it yourself.  Too many people these days rely on others to get by, rely on handouts to make their way.  Carve your own path, and realize your potential.

Today's quote is about the sanctity of life.  Goethe is saying that many people don't start taking care of themselves until they are in their old age, much like how people treat their finances.  It's never too early to start eating healthy and getting exersize.

Today's quote is one of my personal favorites.  It has to do with taking risks, living life to its fullest potential.  Too many people play it safe, they never have a little fun.  That's what life is all about.

Today's quote is a rather famous one that you may have heard, but in light of a conversation I had yesterday I felt it relevant.  There will never be an end to war, there will never be world peace.  There will always be someone in control who wants more land, money, power, or to be holier in the eyes of his God or Gods.

Today's quote is from one of my favorite comedians, Richard Pryor.  The thing I love the most about this quote, aside from agreeing with it completely, is the amount of balls it took to make fun of Christianity back when Pryor was doing his standup.  That was hardly ever a routine you saw!

Love this quote.  It's from a youtuber that is quite popular, theamazingatheist.  He said it in one of his videos where he posted his view on whether or not the mosque should be allowed to go up in New York near the World Trade Center site.  He said that it falls under freedom of speech, and that's the shitty part about freedom of speech:  sometimes incredible assholes win.  Let me know what you think!
